Monday 17th December - walk ***** – Around Felixstowe including chips on the pier - cloudy.

The Christmas fun continues with our Grandson Arlo up in Felixstowe for an early Christmas, sadly his mum had to return home yesterday for work. I missed a cracking sunrise this morning but expect there will be loads more, the plan today was to have a walk out despite the gloomy day but at least it was not raining. We wanted to try out Arlos mega gyro ball which is amazing and actually flys through the air, so we made a flask and headed down to Langer park where we had loads of fun chasing the flying ball about before checking out the rides. Then we continued to Felixstowe seafront coming out near the Manot Martello with yet another park to play on. A huge container ship was also slowly hading into port as we walked along the prom with Arlo stopping to play his favourite stone breaking game, we even spot a seal out to sea. Reaching the pier we buy sausage and chips and eat them in the sheltered side and yummy they were too. The pigeons and gulls get to sure a few too, then up through the town to have a quick visit with Mary before returning home to finish watching Home Alone! What a top day:)
